Jesus, the Eternal King of Israel and King of Kings
The highest form of government is Christ's Kingdom, since He is the King of kings and Lord of lords. The fullness of this will culminate when Christ returns and He rules on the earth during the Millennial kingdom with His saints.
Jesus the Messiah (Christ) is the Seed of David and the only rightful heir to the throne of David and the government of all of Israel. He inherited an unbroken lineage and kingdom and is the final and eternal King of Israel, the King of all the Jewish people. We exalt His Supreme, Exalted Majesty, and pray for the eternal Kingdom to once again be established among the Jewish people, to be recognized by them. They will “honor me before the whole world.” (Is. 43:21). He is the King of all rulers, and all power is His (Zech. 14:9; Isaiah 6; Rev. 19:16). We pray that Your kingdom would come and your will be done over and through the political sphere in Israel, and in all the kingdoms of the Earth (Matt. 6:10). They are under Your sovereign domain. We pray for radical changes to realign Israel's government (and all earthly domains) with Your purposes and reign. Guide the decisions of the courts, of the legislatures, and the executive powers and all the local governing authorities to be in accordance with Your will and purposes in heaven. End divisiveness and bring about unity and cooperation with You. We pray for the current leaders in Israel and the nations, and all those in the military service – for great wisdom and revelation. Thank you for them. We pray that You would guide them so we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way (1 Tim. 2:1-4). Raise up government leaders in Israel (and world-wide) who will recognize Jesus (Yeshua) and the unique significance of Jerusalem and the Jewish people in God's end-time purposes.
Holy Father, we welcome you and Holy Spirit into this place. Let your shalom - your peace rest here. We ask for your favor and full blessing to settle permanently upon the offices of world leaders that You have appointed. We ask you, God of our Master, Jesus Christ, the God of glory—to make them intelligent and discerning in knowing You personally and intimately, their eyes focused and clear, so that they can see exactly what it is You are calling them to do, grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life You have for Your followers, and the utter extravagance of Your work in us who trust You—endless energy, boundless strength, unending love! Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.
We ask you to father this world, this generation and subsequent generations - to bring creative knowledge, wisdom, revelation and understanding. You have made her special and unique. Cause her to thrive and prosper; bring health and wholeness to this area in every way. Redeem her and cause her to arise to her destiny and calling, and reach her fullest potential and actualization. Carry unto completion every single good intent that You have conceived in this area. Bring loving correction and freedom from every hindrance and defilement; right wrongs and extend healing to the broken. Feed the hungry and help the innocent and those in trouble. Free those who are wrongly imprisoned or entrapped; break the chains of injustice. Lift unjust, heavy burdens of those oppressed. Shelter the homeless and those in need. Rebuild the deserted and neglected areas of this world and restore homes. Break poverty and release generosity.
We plead the blood of Jesus over her and ask for you to bring a catharsis of every dark and devious element. Uproot illicit, dishonorable and immoral business practices, lawlessness, theft, greed, mammon, abuse, and exploitation. The scepter of the wicked will not remain over the land allotted to the righteous. Break down fruitless and dead tradition, over-competition, and fear-based paradigms. Instead, plant honorable, forward-thinking commerce, and longevous economy that is fair, productive, generous, decent, vibrant, community-minded, caring, full of tenacious faith and hope, creativity, and full of ingenuity. Bless your people of this age to be lenders and not borrowers. Bless the work of every hand to do good and be productive. We pray for a return to sound thinking and trust in You. So, we pray for you to bless her agriculture, livestock, and industry. Bring the blessings of rain and sun in due time. Bless the population growth to be healthy, strong, and whole in body, soul, and spirit. We ask for freedom from addictions and healing from all sickness, cancers, disease, and every disabling element. We want to be known as a generation of strong families. Restore fathers to their families; heal marriages, stop abuse, abandonment, and divorce. We want to be powerful people, and we want our children to be taught by You.
Empower her with an ability to boldly do good and live with character. Come build a healthy community: in arts and entertainment, business, education, government, media, faith and family. We pray that innovation, invention, and creativity in the arts would thrive here. Bring times of rest and refreshing, renewing and regeneration by your Spirit. We ask you to establish this world and this generation upon a firm foundation, of an honoring of You and a care for each other.
Bless the infrastructure with seven pillars of wisdom upholding a protective covering from all harm. Make this earth a place of Your habitation, of your dwelling. We entrust her to you, and place her under your shadow and shelter. Purge out every misleading or corrupt idea and bad solicitations. End vicious rumors, libel, and slander. May no deceivers enter or prosper here. Place your shield of protection over this community from every violation and danger, torment, disease, fires and other natural disasters, accidents, calamities, social upheaval, terrorism, and every evil.
May those who love her be secure. Make her way successful – and anoint her to be an asset to this time and future generations.
GOVERNMENT MOUNTAIN and MOUNTAIN OF THE LORD
The scepter of the wicked will not remain over the land (this government mountain) allotted to the righteous. (Ps. 125:3). We pray for righteous government leaders with courage and love for their people, who execute justice and love mercy. We pray for and honor all those who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity (1 Tim. 2:2) . You are the Lord of kings, who guides the heart of leaders like a river (Prov. 21:1), so guide them like a river that defends the innocent; executes justice, and overthrows kingdoms that violate justice. We declare that You are the God of all nations. You alone are God of our nation, and we receive the blessing that comes from this. (Ps. 33:12). You are our Judge, our Lawgiver, and our King Supreme (Isaiah 33:22). We proclaim righteousness over this mountain, so that our nation is exalted (Prov. 14:34), and sin (that brings reproach) is marginalized. Lord, you alone set down one leader and rise up another (Ps. 75:7), so we pray: Raise up leaders who will winnow out wickedness and drive the threshing wheel over it. (Prov. 20:26). We pray for justice and mercy, for leaders with the wisdom and discernment of Solomon – for righteous people to run for office, to have favor and fill seats of government on every level; for law-makers to pass just laws that protect the innocent and bring real accountability to the guilty, for the courts to make just decisions in accordance with natural law, for the execution of just decisions; for You, Lord, to over-rule in every decision which violates your truth and love. You bring vindication and justice for those wrongfully treated. (Ps. 103:6). Raise up “Proverbs 31” men and women who will stand in the city gates (Prov. 31:23). Let your saints be joyful in glory, with praises in their mouth to execute vengeance on the nations, to bind kings and nobles to justice and truth (Psalm 149). We tear down all corruption, lies & deceit – for this mountain to be cleansed by fire; for a stripping down of all the layers to a pure and firm foundation of Your Kingdom government. Raise up people of faith who will conquer kingdoms, administer justice, and gain all that has been promised; who shut the mouths of lions, who quench the fury of the flames, and escape the edge of the sword; whose weakness is turned to strength; and who become powerful in battle and rout foreign armies. (Hebrews 11).
We declare:
In these last days the mountain of the Lord’s house will be established as the highest of the mountains...and all nations will stream to it. (Is. 2:2; Micah 4:1)
Your kingdom is the Rock that strikes the nations and becomes a huge mountain that fills the whole earth. (Daniel 2:35, 44) – a kingdom that will never be destroyed, cannot be shaken (Heb. 12:28)...and will itself endure forever. The increase of your kingdom government and peace will never end. (Is. 9:7)
Every knee should bow and tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord in every sphere of culture. (Phil. 2:10,11)
You LORD Jesus are king over all the earth. There will be one LORD—his name alone will be worshiped. (Zech. 14:9). "Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.” (Revelation 11:15)
Your kingdom come and will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven...for Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. (Matthew 6:9-13)
We speak to the gates of each of the Mountains, especially the political mountain: “Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.” (Psalm 24:7)

Revelation 20 outlines the millennium – a 1000 year period where it describes that Satan is bound and Jesus rules for 1000 years, along with the saints. At the end of this period, the kingdoms of the earth rally again the Lord (see Psalm 2).
How do you think the world would react if Jesus were crowned the King of Israel (King of the Jewish people) today? And how would they then react if the Kingdom of Israel became the dominate political power in all the Earth, where Jesus would be recognized as the “King of kings” and “Lord of lords” – and all other political powers and governments were subject to His rule, subject to the political decisions of another nation (in the same way most nations relate to the USA today)? Now, how do you think they would react knowing that this is the end-game of all of Christianity and we believe this will literally happen in the future? Psalm 2:
1 Why do the nations conspire
and the peoples plot in vain?
2 The kings of the earth rise up
and the rulers band together
against the Lord and against his anointed, saying,
3 “Let us break their chains
and throw off their shackles.”
4 The One enthroned in heaven laughs;
the Lord scoffs at them.
5 He rebukes them in his anger
and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,
6 “I have installed my king
on Zion, my holy mountain.”
Jesus as the Exalted King, seen in the Old Testament
John 12:40,41:
40“He has blinded their eyes
and hardened their hearts,
so they can neither see with their eyes,
nor understand with their hearts,
nor turn—and I would heal them.”
(This directly quotes Isaiah 6:10)
41 Isaiah said this because he saw Jesus’ glory and spoke about him.
What “glory” of Jesus did Isaiah see? In the same chapter (6), Isaiah says:
In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. 3 And they were calling to one another:
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty;
the whole earth is full of his glory.”
4 At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.
5 “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.”
For some reason, I've often attributed such Old Testament exalted majestic expressions to The Father (rather than the Son), but John is very clear that this is an expression of Jesus' majesty – of His exalted glory.
