We align ourselves with many other born-again, Spirit-filled Christians in the Body of Christ and honor teachers who we see as Apostolic or Prophetic leaders in the Body of Christ in our time.   Almost all of our dearest Christian friends would do likewise. Why Christians Should Believe for a Christian Nation  I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—  for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.  This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. - 1 Timothy 2:1-4 Here, the Lord exhorts us to pray for all of those in authority, but he goes further to indicate the Lord's will -- for us to live peaceful and quiet lives.  We don't have to go far in the world to see the impact of how ungodly rulers can disrupt the lives of Christians or the innocent.  Whenever we can stand up for those oppressed in other countries, while making a difference in our own, we should (Prov.31:8,9).  Real faith and prayers are attached to action -- doing something that demonstrates your trust and belief that what you are asking for should actually happen.  If some
